Triadic Ballet

The Triadic Ballet (Das Triadische Ballett) is an avant-garde ballet created by Oskar Schlemmer divided into three parts, each with unique colors and moods: yellow (festive), pink (ceremonial), and black (mystical). The performers wore unique costumes that turned their bodies into striking shapes leading to a mechanical dance, inspired by Bauhaus ideas of blending art and design. The Triadic Ballet showed modernist themes by abstracting the human form and examining how the body interacts with space and machines.
